Iran appears to be easing some of its internet restrictions. According to local media reports including Tasnim, authorities have begun allowing limited access to Google and portions of the broader internet infrastructure. However, this represents only a partial restoration—full connectivity remains unavailable at this stage. The rollout is restricted in scope, suggesting a cautious approach rather than a comprehensive reopening. This development could have downstream implications for regional digital adoption and blockchain network participation, as improved internet access typically correlates with increased cryptocurrency engagement in developing markets.

Iran has opened up, but it's like a rebound after a cut; don't be fooled. How much incremental growth can restrictive openness bring?

It's the same old story, I've been through this before. Iran loosening internet restrictions, and the crypto circle starts hyping it as a big advantage? In 2017, when Africa and Southeast Asia's internet opened up, what happened? It was just a bunch of Ponzi schemes taking the opportunity to harvest investors. This time is no different; just waiting to see how the project teams spin their stories.

partial access = partial liquidation risk lmaooo... iran finally uncaging the internet but keeping one hand on the kill switch? classic market structure play. limited google = limited alpha leaks i guess, but once the floodgates crack even slightly, the cascade effect hits different. watching on-chain signals from tehran rn ngl
