Let's build a solid list of known scam tactics in the crypto space. We need this out there.

Here's the thing - there are too many bad actors using the same old tricks over and over. Fake promises of guaranteed returns, impersonators running official-looking accounts, copycat tokens that look legit at first glance, pump-and-dump schemes disguised as genuine projects.

If we crowdsource this, document what actually goes wrong, we can help people spot these patterns before they lose money. Share your encounters. What red flags did you catch? What made you suspicious? What scams are floating around right now?

The more transparent we are about these tactics, the harder it gets for scammers to operate. Everyone in this community deserves better.

Someone should have organized this stuff a long time ago. Watching people get scammed every day is so frustrating. --- I can spot those guaranteed profit projects at a glance. Only someone brainwashed would believe them. --- Copying official accounts is such a low-level tactic. Just look at the username and you'll blow your cover. --- Pump and dump schemes are so overplayed. Are people still falling for them? --- The most ridiculous thing I've seen is copying whitepapers directly, without even fixing typos. --- Transparency is indeed important, but honestly, most people will still be deceived. --- Such discussions are very necessary. Although cautious people will remain alert, the unwary will still fall for it.

Someone should have organized this stuff a long time ago. It's always the same group of scammers changing aliases to continue deceiving.

These old tricks indeed need to be exposed, but to be honest, most people are still easily fooled.

To be honest, I've seen this scam way too many times. Aren't there still friends around me who have been victimized by rug pulls?

Really, these old tricks keep cycling, and we need to quickly pick them out so everyone can see clearly.
