Without clear rules, you're just betting.

Seriously though—if you can't articulate your trading framework, you're gambling, not trading. The difference? One's repeatable, the other's luck.

Use some downtime to actually build something. Map out your entry signals, exit points, risk parameters. Document it. Test it. Then stick to it when emotions run high.

That's a real system.

Trading without a framework is gambling, there's really no lie in that statement.

Well said, that's exactly why I argue every day with those who place orders based on intuition. Without a framework, it's pure gambling, no different from blindly sandwich attacking in the mempool.

Without rules, it's just gambling. My system has been running stably for three years.

That's right, many people just go all-in based on intuition, and then blame the market after losing everything. Trading without a framework is just gambling, there's a big difference. I've seen too many people who, when asked why they entered a position, can't answer; when asked where their stop loss is, they also can't answer. Those who truly make money have a system in place—one they've tested, verified, and can explain clearly.

ngl, if you can't explain your edges in actual data terms, you're just noise. most traders won't even backtest their own thesis—demonstrably lazy.

Trading without a system is just gambling, and that's very true. I've seen too many people chase gains and cut losses based on intuition, only to end up liquidated.

Honestly, without a trading system, it's just gambling. I've fallen into this trap before.
