Recently, I’ve noticed that it’s very difficult to have rational conversations in Web3 discussion communities. The overall atmosphere seems to only allow bullish voices, and expressing different opinions easily leads to misunderstandings. A while ago, I posted a tweet, intending to share a certain idea, but I was worried that my wording might be misinterpreted, so I ended up deleting it. Honestly, online violence is really unbearable. When you’re criticized, you have two choices: either tolerate it or respond with insults, and it can go on endlessly. But on the other hand, I have a question for everyone—if a newcomer doesn’t quite understand a certain market narrative or investment logic and humbly asks for advice, will they be mocked? Is there something wrong with this kind of questioning environment?

This community has long changed; any bearish comment gets you criticized. Newcomers have to be very cautious when asking questions, for fear of being mocked as lacking intelligence.

Really, this community is just an echo chamber. You have to go all in to be considered a real person. Say a bearish word, and you're immediately surrounded.

This is the norm in Web3. Those who dare to speak bearish are considered heretics. I've also deleted many posts, afraid of being ranked and criticized to death. But honestly, regarding being mocked when asking for advice... I think it depends on how you ask. If your attitude is right, most people are still willing to help.

Rational discussion is indeed almost extinct in the crypto world. It's really speechless how quickly people start insulting each other over nothing.

The problem isn't in asking; it's in the person asking having fewer coins in their wallet.

This is so real. I've experienced being misunderstood before... Posting a questioning opinion and being attacked by the group outright. Sometimes I get lazy to explain and just delete it, calling it a day. --- Loving and fearing the market should coexist. Forcing it into a black-and-white situation ruins the entire community atmosphere. --- Is it normal to be mocked when asking questions as a newbie? Probably... But if it continues like this, who will dare to come and learn? Eventually, only the leeks and those harvesting them will remain. --- I've also deleted tweets before. It feels like in Web3, you have to think twice before speaking, afraid that certain words will be screenshotted and spread. --- But to be fair, there are definitely rational people discussing, it's just that their voices are drowned out by those who love to argue... Forget it, doing your own research is more reliable. --- Actually, no one is really in charge. Freedom of speech has turned into speech without responsibility... In the end, those who suffer are the ones trying to learn seriously.

That's the problem—those who dare to tell the truth are labeled as bears.
