#Gate广场创作者新春激励 Tom Lee: Bitcoin is expected to hit a new all-time high again this year, while Ethereum may outperform Bitcoin
Tom Lee, Chairman of BitMine and co-founder of Fundstrat, said in an interview with CNBC that the gains in the first five trading days of this year are a positive signal, a good omen for the market performance for the whole year, and also increase the likelihood of the S&P 500 reaching the 7700 point target; he pointed out that the recent volatility in the financial sector and the crypto market has been partly influenced by policy expectations. If Washington implements policies to restrict credit card interest rates, it will weaken the credit capacity of financial institutions and impact the industry. However, at the same time, the advancement of the Clarity Act is a major positive for the crypto industry; he believes that as the market gradually moves away from the shock of October last year, the crypto market is expected to see a significant recovery. Therefore, he remains optimistic about Bitcoin, expecting it to potentially break its all-time high this year, and is more optimistic about Ethereum, believing that Ethereum's performance may outperform Bitcoin.
