🚨 DeFi Exploit Update: YAM Finance Clarifies Inverse Attack! 🛡️

YAM Finance has officially responded to the recent Inverse Finance exploit, clarifying that the incident was not caused by a smart contract vulnerability, but rather an issue stemming from LlamaLend's mechanics.

🔹 The Exploit: Attackers executed a "donation attack" on sDOLA via LlamaLend, artificially pumping its price from ~1.188 to ~1.358 per DOLA.

🔹 The Anomaly: Bizarrely, this sudden increase in collateral value triggered mass liquidations for users who were using sDOLA to borrow crvUSD.

🔹 The Aftermath: Security firm BlockSec estimates the total losses at around $240,000. Meanwhile, unleveraged sDOLA holders are seeing a 14% paper profit, and DOLA is currently trading at a 1% discount on the secondary market.
