Long-term positioning, does it look especially comfortable?

When this wave of short positions started declining from around 69,000 and stopped falling and showed signs of rebound near 68,000, many people would get caught in a dilemma.
In fact, there were only two choices at that time:
First, exit immediately, seemingly locking in gains, but in reality, missing out on the large potential upside later, and the profits on the table just fly away;
Second, hold firmly, with a 50% chance of a rebound and even more losses, and a 50% chance of continued decline and capturing big gains.

It is precisely at this critical divergence point that the core of long-term trading is most evident:
Direction judgment + holding mindset, both are indispensable.
If you get the direction right but can't hold on, it's like doing all the work for nothing; if your mindset is stable but the direction is wrong, you'll only suffer more as you endure.

So before engaging in long-term trading, it's worth asking yourself:
Can you withstand volatility? Can you endure setbacks? Can you stay true to your logic during market fluctuations?
Only if you can, do you have the qualification to profit from long-term positions.
