Ripple has obtained an EMI license and crypto asset registration from the UK regulator — the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).


Ripple holds an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license in the European Union, expanding its legal footprint in the region.
According to Ripple's management, these approvals indicate that the cryptocurrency sector is moving toward a regulated, institutional-level infrastructure standard.
Ripple has reached a significant milestone after receiving new approvals from regulators in the UK and Europe in London. This success highlights Ripple's commitment to strengthening its presence in regulated crypto payments and financial infrastructure.
