Amazon recently held an emergency consultation meeting to discuss the negative impacts of artificial intelligence on its systems and the corresponding solutions. This move was prompted by setbacks experienced by AWS when using its own AI programming toolset, which forced the relevant team to spend 13 hours repairing the system. To avoid such risks, new management regulations require that junior and mid-level engineers are no longer allowed to directly push AI-generated code without prior approval, and all such submissions must be signed off by a senior engineer.
