🔥 Oil Prices Surge Again as Hormuz Strait Tensions Remain Unresolved
Following the Thai cargo ship Mayuree Naree being attacked like a beehive last night for deliberately ignoring warnings and illegally transiting the strait. A Liberia-flagged vessel named Express Rome was also subjected to heavy artillery fire at sea.
According to the UK Maritime Trade Operations Authority (UKMTO), there have been at least 13 attacks on vessels around the Persian Gulf, Hormuz Strait, and Gulf of Oman since the conflict erupted.
Although Donald Trump has allowed the US to release 172 million barrels of oil from reserves, the IEA along with 32 countries coordinated to release a total of 400 million barrels to the market. However, Iran continues to warn that oil prices could $200 double the current price if the issue is not resolved soon🙏
