Abstract generation in progress

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has revealed detailed scaling strategies aimed at future network expansion. The roadmap he presented includes multiple upgrade plans focused on improving network efficiency and optimizing state management. According to NS3.AI, these improvements will significantly enhance Ethereum’s processing capacity and lay the foundation for long-term network growth.

Short-term upgrades to improve operational efficiency

In the short-term phase of the roadmap, several technical enhancements are planned. The introduction of block-level access lists will optimize transaction processing. At the same time, implementing Enshrined Proposer-Builder Separation (ePBS) will make block production more efficient. Additionally, adopting a multi-dimensional gas model will enable more flexible cost allocation across different resource types, allowing users to better adjust transaction fees.

These upgrades are part of Vitalik Buterin’s leadership in reforming the network to fundamentally improve Ethereum’s efficiency. Each improvement is designed to complement the others, collectively increasing overall processing capacity.

Long-term vision: pathway to network expansion

In the long term, increasing block throughput will be key to scaling. This technological evolution will allow Ethereum to process more data simultaneously, dramatically boosting overall network scalability. Block throughput technology will provide higher data processing capabilities for decentralized applications (dApps) and layer 2 solutions.

These roadmaps reflect a phased, sustainable growth strategy jointly envisioned by Vitalik Buterin and the Ethereum community. Moving from short-term efficiency gains to long-term large-scale expansion, this strategy will further strengthen Ethereum’s position as the next-generation blockchain infrastructure.
