💥 TENSE! After the Strait of Hormuz comes the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb, the Middle East is being locked down!?

Houthi leaders confirmed they are ready to "pull the trigger" to escalate militarily "at any time" if regional developments (especially tensions with Iran) affect them. Previously, the Houthis had disrupted shipping operations in the Red Sea from positions near the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb.

However, Houthi forces cannot be compared to Iran, so completely controlling this strait is not an easy task. Nevertheless, provoking the Houthis at this time is unwise because it could restrict the Middle East's major sea routes.
