First, 299 transactions per second is indeed too high. An ordinary retail trader places one trade per minute, while 299 trades per second represents a massive unfairness. It's like they're using a Gatling gun while you're fighting with bare hands—how can you even compete?

Second, if someone can place orders milliseconds faster than you—even just a few hundredths of a millisecond ahead—that constitutes cheating. It's like playing cards where your opponent instantly sees your hand before you even play it, then beats you with a higher card. $BTC
