Solana (SOL), in the first quarter of 2026, processed 25.3 billion transactions, massively outpacing competitors in the blockchain world and taking the top spot.

As discussions about speed and scalability continue in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, activity on the Solana (SOL) network set a new record. According to CryptoRank and Token Terminal data, the transaction volume during the first three months of 2026 shows that Solana has left all other networks behind. The network’s high performance has elevated the interest of users and developers to the highest level.

On-chain data, which encompasses all movements and data on the blockchain, helps us understand how actively a network is used. Similar to a bank’s daily transaction records, this data allows us to transparently track transfers and smart contract interactions on the network. According to the latest shared data, Solana is consolidating its dominance in the digital asset world with the number of transactions it has reached.

Solana’s closest competitor, BNB Chain (BNB), processed 1.7 billion transactions during the same period, ranking second. This indicates that activity on the Solana network is approximately 15 times higher than its nearest rival. Following this are Tron (TRX) with 978 million transactions and Polygon (POL) with 711 million transactions. This massive figure achieved by Solana proves that its low-cost, fast transaction capabilities are highly preferred by users.

New-generation blockchain networks like Aptos (APT) stand out with 704 million transactions, followed by Stellar (XLM) with 413 million and Sui (SUI) with 382 million transactions. At the lower end of the list are projects such as NEAR Protocol (NEAR), Sei Network (SEI), and Injective (INJ). The data clearly shows that Solana is not just an alternative but has become the industry’s main hub for transaction volume.
