Trump tells TRUMP holder event he will defend crypto market structure legislation
Trump told a private Florida event for a few hundred top TRUMP memecoin holders that the White House would not let banks block crypto market structure legislation. Banking groups had slowed Senate progress on the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act by arguing that stablecoin rewards programs could threaten traditional deposits. The guest list included Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, Cathie Wood, Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley and Mike Tyson.
