Shortly after the incident, PlayDapp sent a message to the attacker through an on-chain transaction, demanding the return of the stolen funds and a $1 million white hat reward. However, the negotiations ultimately failed. On February 12, the hacker minted another 1.59 billion PLA tokens. Valued at $253.9 million and started moving through cryptocurrency trading platforms. On February 13, PlayDapp stated on social media platforms that the PLA smart contract had been suspended, and also reminded users to stop trading for migration snapshots, saying that it was making every effort to protect the holders' assets.
