Compared with the same period last year (January 1, 2023 to October 16, 2023, the total issuance amount was 126.4 billion yuan), the issuance amount has risen by about 27.4%. “Issuance data shows that the panda bond market continues to be hot and expanding rapidly.” Zhu Hualei, senior investment consultant of Jufeng Investment Advisory, said that from the perspective of issuers, in addition to traditional red chip companies, the participation of pure offshore issuers is also increasing, including many well-known companies making their debut in the panda bond market for the first time.
