Today's Conclusion: Doubts Do Not Define Us
We are not the first generation to face doubts. An example of this is the disciples of Jesus. We know that they also had doubts. Peter and Thomas for sure. And yet, God was not angry with them for it, but continued to use them to change the world.
It can be quite difficult to trust God because we are not physically able to see Him. We observe His work in the lives of others, read about His miracles, but cannot gather the remnants of faith together to rely on Him and calm our emotions. So we begin to doubt, then feel guilty about our doubts, and then wonder if God is disappointed in us because of our lack of faith.
Here's a great news about our doubts - they don't determine the rest of our lives. In other words, although we may doubt God many times, nothing will prevent us from restoring our lives in complete hope in Him. Just because we doubted in the past doesn't mean we will always doubt in the future. Maybe we will face another failed attempt to trust God, but be assured, God will not give up on us. He loves us infinitely and will continue to teach us to walk with Him in faith.
