Standard Chartered Forecast: Bitcoin Could Reach $500,000 by 2028
Jeffrey Kendrick, Head of Digital Assets at Standard Chartered, predicts that Bitcoin's price could soar to $500,000 within the next three years. This bullish outlook is driven by Trump’s crypto-friendly policies, the launch of Bitcoin ETFs, and the removal of accounting restrictions for companies holding cryptocurrencies. Kendrick expects Bitcoin to hit $200,000 by the end of 2025, $300,000 in 2026, $400,000 in 2027, and stabilize at $500,000 by 2028. However, other experts, such as Nobel laureate Eugene Fama, offer a more pessimistic view, forecasting a potential Bitcoin crash.
