October’s $1B Token Unlock Frenzy: Aptos, ENS, and Bittensor Lead the Charge
Fresh data indicates that about $1.031 billion worth of token unlocks are set to drop over the next 30 days, with projects like Aptos, Ethereum Name Service (ENS), ImmutableX, Bittensor, and a few more ready to crack open their vaults. These releases will push previously locked or vested tokens into the wild, giving the market a little extra excitement this month.
Crypto Unlocks and Incoming Supply Pressure
According to data from Defillama.com, between Oct. 4 and Nov. 4, 2025, just over a billion dollars’ worth of crypto tokens are set to be freed from their digital vaults. Many crypto projects use locking periods or vesting schedules, meaning their coins are off-limits for trading, selling, or moving until a set time passes. This setup helps keep early investors from dumping their tokens too soon and aims to keep prices steady after a project’s debut.
In September, crypto watchers witnessed a wave of unlocks from projects like Optimism, Fasttoken, Eigenlayer, Cheelee, Layerzero, Aptos, Sonic, and Pump.fun—all letting some of their previously locked tokens stretch their legs. On Oct. 5, Aethir will see 65.58 million tokens unlocking, followed by Aptos at 58.75 million. Flare isn’t far behind, releasing 44.73 million tokens into circulation, while Big Time joins the party with 32.07 million more entering the mix.
Connex follows with 36.78 million tokens, while QuantixAI loosens up 33.21 million. Omni Network tosses 27.66 million into circulation, Debridge adds 20.06 million, and Vana releases 10.57 million. Celestia reappears with another 9.62 million, Apecoin joins in with 8.74 million, and Zetachain contributes 7.34 million. Rounding it out, a handful of lesser-known coins will sprinkle in another 4.67 million tokens.
But that’s just the opening act—TON is set to unleash 102.89 million tokens this month, while Layerzero drops another 55.03 million. Avalanche joins the action with 50.14 million hitting circulation. Meanwhile, projects like Kaito, Melania’s meme coin, Tornado Cash, and Orderly will roll out their own unlocks between Oct. 19 and Nov. 2, 2025.
All told, more than a billion dollars in crypto is about to hit the open market. Whether it sparks fresh momentum or a round of profit-taking, these unlocks are guaranteed to keep the charts anything but boring.
