Tether co-founder: All currencies will become stablecoins by 2030.

Golden Finance reported that Tether co-founder Reeve Collins expects that by 2030, "all currencies" will evolve into stablecoins as part of the comprehensive on-chain transformation of finance. "All currencies will be stablecoins. Even fiat currencies will be stablecoins. They will just be called dollars, euros, or yen," Collins stated in a wide-ranging interview at the Token2049 conference in Singapore. "Stablecoins are essentially the US dollar, euro, yen, or other traditional currencies operating on the blockchain track, and this will be the case by 2030," he added. Collins believes that in the next five years, stablecoins will become the primary means of transfer, as the advantages brought by asset tokenization have become too strong for traditional finance to ignore. "It is likely to be earlier, because you will still be using US dollars. But it depends on your definition of stablecoin. The definition of stablecoin, essentially, is that you are transferring funds on the blockchain." he added.
