The Fusaka upgrade has completed final testing and is expected to go live on the Mainnet around December 3.

On October 29, the Ethereum Fusaka upgrade has passed the final Testnet and is set to go live on the Mainnet around December 3. Hoodi was the last to pass the Fusaka simulation run among the three Testnets, with the other two being the Holesky and Sepolia networks, and successful upgrade tests have been completed. The Ethereum Fusaka upgrade will drop transaction costs and improve efficiency by expanding blob storage and implementing PeerDAS, thereby enhancing Layer 2 scalability. This change could increase blob space by over 400%, marking a significant step for Ethereum towards faster transaction speeds and lower costs.
