PANews berichtete am 19. Dezember, dass laut SolanaFloor die ökologische DEX Lifinity beschlossen hat, den Betrieb schrittweise einzustellen, die entsprechenden Vorschläge mit knapper Einstimmigkeit angenommen wurden und das Protokoll in den Schließungsprozess eintreten wird. Am 10. Dezember präsentierte Lifinity angesichts zunehmender Konkurrenz durch Prop-AMMs seiner Community einen Governance-Vorschlag zum Überleben des Protokolls. Laut dem Vorschlag werden die Treasury-Vermögenswerte von Lifinity DAO im Wert von etwa 42 Millionen US-Dollar in USDC zusammengelegt, um proportional an die LFNTY-Tokeninhaber verteilt zu werden. Zusätzlich werden die verbleibenden 1,4 Millionen US-Dollar an Entwicklungsmitteln des Teams ebenfalls verteilt.
Laut Gemeinschaftsschätzungen können Inhaber mit 0,90 bis 1,10 $ pro Token rechnen, basierend auf dem Buchwert der Staatskasse. LFNTY- und veLFNTY-Inhabern wird geraten, ihre Token vor der Einlösung in xLNFTY umzutauschen. Es wird erwartet, dass die Anspruchsfunktion für xLNFTY an USDC in etwa 9 Tagen gestartet wird, vorbehaltlich der Sicherheitsprüfung von Sec3. Seit dem Start im Februar 2022 hat Lifinity ein Handelsvolumen von über 149 Milliarden US-Dollar verarbeitet und ist damit die fünftgrößte DEX in der Geschichte von Solana.
