Stead is an Arbitrum-based DeFi platform that provides liquidity to small marine businesses, fishermen, and fish farmers. The platform supports multiple types of floating infrastructure, such as fishing and transport vessels, fish cages, and floating docks, as well as floating homes, hotel rooms, and restaurants. Stead provides liquidity to small businesses, including fishermen, through the STEAD token, helping fishermen earn returns through the token’s “rent-to-own” program, buying back and burning the STEAD tokens originally issued to fund them.
