Abstract generation in progress

Wu said that ethPandaOps released an article discussing Ethereum’s strategy for Layer 1 scaling by increasing the gas limit (from 36M to 45M, with future goals of 60M and 100M). The Pectra upgrade has increased the Blob capacity from 3/6 to 6/9, and the Fusaka upgrade will enhance Blob throughput via PeerDAS. Scaling needs to address issues such as execution performance, network propagation, state growth, RPC performance, and the impact on the consensus layer. Currently, tests with a 45M Gas Limit show no barriers, with block processing times <3 seconds, and 99.5% node propagation <4 seconds. Validators are recommended to adjust their adoption and update their client versions. According to data from gaslimit.pics, the validator on-chain preference voting (Signaling) for the 45M Gas Limit is approaching 29%.
