According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on August 4, Coin Desk reported that the decentralized finance platform Centrifuge has appointed former Goldman Sachs exchange-traded fund (ETF) business head Jürgen Blumberg as Chief Operating Officer, while also serving as Chief Investment Officer of its affiliate Anemoy. Blumberg has over 20 years of experience in the capital market with institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Invesco, and BlackRock.

Centrifuge is currently focused on the tokenization of investment products, with a total locked value exceeding $760 million on the platform, which includes a $400 million tokenized U.S. Treasury fund issued in collaboration with Anemoy. The platform has recently expanded its product line, launching a blockchain version of the S&P 500 index, and has partnered with asset management company Janus Henderson to issue a tokenized credit loan obligation fund.
