The IEEE P3220.02 standard "Decentralized Storage Protocol Based on Blockchain" has been officially completed, and the CESS Network led the working group meeting for pre-review confirmation.
Deep Tide TechFlow news, on September 2, the IEEE P3220.02 “Blockchain-based Decentralized Storage Protocol” standard has been officially completed, led by the decentralized data infrastructure CESS Network, which held a working group meeting for pre-review confirmation, and it will be formally submitted to IEEE SA for review on September 1, 2025. This meeting brought together over 50 experts from 19 institutions worldwide, including voting members from the State Grid, Southern Power Grid, Shutu, China Civil Aviation Information Network, Inspur Information, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Hainan University, and other institutions. This marks a key step in the international standardization of decentralized storage.
As the initiator and main contributor, CESS actively participates in the design of the technical framework, compliance requirements, and application scenarios during the standard-setting process, promoting that decentralized storage has stronger verifiability, compliance, and implementability. The completion of this standard not only provides a unified reference for AI, Web3, RWA, and enterprise applications but also lays the foundation for compliant deployment and large-scale applications globally.
CESS will continue to uphold openness and innovation, promoting the application and implementation of decentralized data infrastructure globally, assisting the industry in achieving data sovereignty, security, and efficient collaboration.
