BlockOffice acquisition of Web3 marketing company ACTIV8 LAB (formerly LYDIAN LABS)

Web3 solutions provider BlockOffice announces the acquisition of marketing agency Lydian Labs and its name change to ACTIV8. The acquisition aims to combine the resources of both parties and integrate ACTIV8's marketing expertise into BlockOffice's service ecosystem. (Synopsis: MYBW 2025, Southeast Asia's top Web3 event, debuts this week, bringing together global industry leaders) (Background supplement: MYBW 2025 brings together global blockchain leaders, Malaysia launches blockchain infrastructure plan) This article is a press release, written and provided by Lydian Labs, and does not represent the position of the region. On September 11, Lydian Labs, a full-end Web3 solutions provider, was officially acquired by BlockOffice. Lydian Labs is known for its flagship event, "Malaysia Blockchain Week 2025 (MYBW)". BlockOffice provides time-of-use CFO (fractional CFO), company formation, accounting and tax, fundraising, and back-office services for Web3 and technology companies. In addition, BlockOffice is funded by founders, investors and executives of top companies such as Accel, Deel, Nium, Wise, Coinbase and Temasek (Temasek). "At BlockOffice, we focus on providing our customers with time-of-share CFO (fractional CFO) and financial logistics solutions. We produce income statement (P&L) and growth metrics, and often find that clients have limited options when looking for an effective growth and marketing strategy with a positive ROI (ROI). Principled marketing experts like Noelle and Ian of ACTIV8 (formerly Lydian Labs) are extremely rare and work closely with clients to drive goal-oriented growth and purpose. Through ACTIV8 and its hundreds of case studies to provide our clients with Web3 marketing expertise, our services have now gone beyond finance and logistics to bring better results and double growth to their marketing campaigns." Jay Lim, Founder and CEO of BlockOffice Group. After being acquired by BlockOffice, Lydian Labs has changed its name to ACTIV8. Noelle Lee and Dr. Ian Tan, the two main operating co-founders of Lydian Labs, will move to ACTIV8 for leadership, with most of the existing employees joining and the remainder leaving the company. "ACTIV8 is proud to inform and assure all stakeholders that this acquisition will enhance our ability to deliver even better results. With more resources, we will help our customers grow and succeed even more than they did at Lydian Labs." Noelle Lee, Managing Partner, ACTIV8 (formerly Lydian Labs). In fact, during the acquisition period less than 3 months after the end of Blockchain Week in Malaysia, the company's sales have tripled year-on-year. Following the acquisition, ACTIV8 will work closely with BlockOffice's leadership and its international teams across Asia, the United States and Europe to operate as part of BlockOffice's main business in Web3 and blockchain. In addition to ACTIV8, BlockOffice is also strengthening its ecosystem by acquiring companies such as Pixel8Labs. Pixel8Labs is a leading technology studio specializing in building cryptocurrency exchanges, games, payment platforms, launch platforms, non-fungible token (NFT), and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. With ACTIV8 becoming its latest acquisition, BlockOffice now brings together five pillars of expertise, namely: Finance – BlockOffice provides time-of-use CFO (fractional CFO) and company formation services. Marketing – ACTIV8 provides timeshare (fractional CMO), global Web3 marketing services and serves as the official organizer of the inaugural Malaysia Blockchain Week. Technology – Pixel8labs provides time-sharing (fractional CTO) and product development services. Web3 Advisor – Whitepaper Auditor provides token economy advisors and listing support services. Investments – BlockOffice Ventures as its own fund designated for specific investments. Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026 will be even bigger ACTIV8 will continue to be the official host of Malaysia Blockchain Week (MYBW), which was first held by Lydian Labs in 2024. This year's MYBW 2025 was successfully held in July and attracted more than 6,000 local and international attendees, making it one of the most influential Web3 events in the region. With the joint blessing of Digital Minister YB Gobind Singh Deo and Minister of Science, Craft and Innovation YB Chang Lih Kang, MYBW 2025 lights the way for the future of Web3 in Malaysia and will continue to move forward as one of the leading Web3 events in Southeast Asia. "Malaysia Blockchain Week is the pride of Malaysia and the team behind it. As ACTIV8, we will continue to provide Malaysians and the world with a Web3 launch platform. The current MYBW team will continue to develop this IP (IP) to make it stronger and more scalable to achieve the goal of establishing Malaysia as a regional blockchain hub." Dr Ian Tan, Managing Partner of ACTIV8 (formerly Lydian Labs). MYBW 2025 has seen record growth compared to its inaugural event in 2024, doubling the number of participants, speakers, and total foot traffic. With BlockOffice's global network of Web3 experts, preparations for the flagship national Web3 event MYBW 2026 are already underway and are expected to have an even more far-reaching impact.
