Solana (SOL) pumps 39% from the crash low, but can this rebound last?
Solana observed a significant rebound of 39% from the low point of the crash. The following data indicate whether this upward trend can continue. A few days ago, Solana, along with other cryptocurrency markets, experienced a fall in price to a low of $110. However, since hitting bottom, the asset has experienced a significant rebound and is currently back at the $153 level.
Solana has recovered to the level before the crash. However, despite a 39% pump in SOL, it is still far below the $194 level before the downturn began at the end of July. As for whether Cryptocurrency can continue this recovery momentum, perhaps market sentiment can provide some clues.
According to on-chain analysis company's data, during the recent period of big dump in price, the crowd sentiment around Solana has fallen into the panic zone. Historically, the trend of Crypto is more likely to go against the expectations of the majority, so the fearful sentiment may have a positive impact on its price. Therefore, when people are in panic, it is not surprising to see a Rebound in the asset.
As shown in Figure 1, market sentiment instead soared towards the high point of July, which may be the reason why the Token reached its peak at that time. With the recovery of Solana and another 10% rise in the past 24 hours, market sentiment has improved, but this ratio is still not close to the greedy area. The data platform pointed out that if people's doubts continue, SOL may also rise further.
As usual, one of the main obstacles to pump may be the dumping of Whales. Data from Cryptocurrency exchange tracking services shows that SolanaWhale has just deposited a large sum of money into the exchange.
In this transaction, Whale transferred nearly $31.7 million worth of SOL from a private Wallet to an exchange. Investors typically deposit funds to an exchange when they want to use one of the services offered by the exchange, which may include selling. Therefore, Whale may have made this transfer to profit from the recovery.
