Maduro once wrote to Trump calling for dialogue and denied that illegal drugs are flowing from Venezuela into the United States.
According to reports from foreign media on September 22, Jin10 data, Venezuelan President Maduro directly wrote to Trump this month, calling for dialogue with the United States to ease tensions. In a letter dated September 6, Maduro stated that his government "has been seeking direct communication to address any issues arising between the two countries." Maduro wrote in the letter: "I respectfully urge you, Mr. President, to promote peace throughout the hemisphere through constructive dialogue and mutual understanding."
