Powell: Data shows the economy is expanding at a moderate pace, and labor demand has significantly slowed down

On December 11, Fed Chair Powell stated that data shows the economy is expanding at a moderate pace. September labor market data indicated a slight increase in the unemployment rate and a significant slowdown in employment growth. Labor demand has notably slowed down. The vitality of the labor market has weakened and is slightly softening.
