Pyongyang-originated Korea-China passenger train arrives at Beijing Station
A bilateral Korea-China international passenger train departing from Pyongyang, North Korea arrived in Beijing on the morning of the 13th. The train, numbered "K28", departed from Pyongyang Station at 10:26 AM the previous day and arrived at Beijing Station at 8:40 AM that morning. The train departing from Beijing also left at 5:26 PM the previous afternoon, passing through Tianjin, Shanhaiguan, Shenyang, Dandong, and Sinuiju, North Korea, and arrived at Pyongyang Station at 6:07 PM that afternoon.
This marks the resumption of bilateral Korea-China passenger train service after a 6-year hiatus. North Korea closed its borders in January 2020 for COVID-19 prevention, resulting in the suspension of this train service. According to information from China National Railway Group, the train will operate bidirectionally on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays each week. #全球经济
