Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister: Iran and the three European countries agree to resume nuclear talks as soon as possible.
On July 26, Jin10 reported that Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi stated that after talks held in Istanbul on Friday, Iran and the three European countries (UK, France, Germany) unanimously agreed to hold a new round of nuclear negotiations as soon as possible. "Both sides hope to continue holding such talks in the near future," Takht-Ravanchi said after the meeting. He described Friday's discussions as "positive," but did not reveal the specific timing of the next round of talks. This marks the first substantial breakthrough in the Iranian nuclear issue since the previous round of talks was interrupted due to Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iran in June. On the other hand, Iranian President Pezeshkian stated on Saturday that while Tehran remains cautious about the current one-month ceasefire agreement with Israel, it "does not rule out diplomatic options."
