RBA Governor: Market's Expectations of Rate Cuts Too Premature

Golden Finance reported that the governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Brock, said that the market's expectation of interest rate cuts is too early, and recent interest rate cuts are inconsistent with the committee's thinking. The committee did consider raising interest rates. It is prepared to raise interest rates when necessary. If CPI does not meet expectations, interest rates will be raised.
