This operation occurred when the SOL price pumped to around $175, close to its liquidation price. Earlier, the whale had transferred 121,200 USDC to Hyperliquid and opened a short position of 100,000 SOL with 20x leverage (total value approximately $16.6 million), with an opening average price of $164.9 and a liquidation price of $172.6.
