Over the years, I have accumulated rich experience in the short-term trading field, especially in the Crypto Assets market. There are not many traders in this field, and discussions are relatively scarce. Looking back at the successful experiences of 2021, I recorded some insights. Although some viewpoints may have become outdated over time, there are still some insights worth sharing.
The crypto assets market was once famous for its 'long bulls and short bears' characteristics, and was considered one of the easiest markets to profit from. Many well-known figures in the investment world originated from this. However, the 'masters' of this market often achieve wealth growth through strong one-way trends and continuous capital rolling. It is worth noting that this success does not always stem from exceptional trading skills, and thus there are also cases of failure.
As the wealth effect of the Crypto Assets market weakens, we may see many so-called 'masters' gradually return to normal in the future. The characteristics of this market are long trend durations and high volatility. If one can accurately grasp the trend for entry, they can usually achieve considerable returns.
In the early days of the Crypto Assets market, technical analysis played a significant role, and the bullish and bearish trends were relatively easy to identify. However, as the market matured, the entry barriers continued to rise, making it increasingly difficult to profit. This is an inevitable result of a young market maturing.
In contrast, the futures market has also undergone a similar evolution. In the early days, there were often significant one-sided trends, but in recent years, the trading difficulty has noticeably increased, which also reflects the trend of market maturity. In futures trading, having relevant professional knowledge will provide a greater advantage. For example, in-depth understanding of specific products, knowledge of international trade, and a background in finance could all become key factors for success.
Overall, whether in the Crypto Assets or futures market, the skills and knowledge required for successful trading are continually improving as time passes and market maturity increases. For traders aspiring to succeed in these fields, continuous learning and adapting to market changes are crucial.
