Singapore's fintech investment warms up, attracting $1.04 billion in the first half of 2025.

[Coin World] On September 26, 2023 (UTC+8), the accounting firm KPMG released the "2025 Half-Year Financial Technology Pulse Report." The financial technology industry in Singapore experienced a rebound in the first half of 2025, completing a total of 90 transactions and attracting nearly $1.04 billion in investments. Compared to the first half of 2024, the transaction amount rose by approximately 87%, an increase of 28% compared to the second half of 2024. Investment activities were concentrated in the fields of payments, Crypto Assets, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, with transactions in the payments sector covering both early and late financing rounds, while the Crypto Assets and artificial intelligence sectors mainly focused on early investments. Globally, the total investment in financial technology reached $44.7 billion in the first half of 2025, with a total of 2,216 transactions, a decrease from $54.2 billion (2,376 transactions) in the second half of 2024.
