Is there a crypto mining bot on Telegram?

What a huge scam! I've been in the crypto world for years and I have to say it clearly: these so-called "mining bots" on Telegram are a monumental joke. Can anyone really believe that a simple messaging app can generate the computational power needed to mine cryptocurrencies? It's absurd!

I have seen too many friends fall into these traps. They promise you quick profits, show you fake screenshots, and the worst part is that many end up sending their savings to these scammers.

What no one tells you about these bots

In 2025, I still see the same scams but with different disguises. The other day I joined a group where someone called "CryptoMiner3000" promised returns of 15% daily. What a load of rubbish! Real mining requires specialized equipment that consumes electricity as if there were no tomorrow.

According to data I have personally gathered, more than 70% of these so-called bots are pure and simple Ponzi schemes. They send you small amounts at first to gain your trust and when you make a large deposit... poof! They disappear.

And the saddest part is that regulators do nothing. Meanwhile, serious platforms lose credibility because these scammers tarnish the reputation of the entire crypto industry.

My personal experience

A year ago, out of pure curiosity, I joined one of these groups. The administrator, very convincing, claimed to have a revolutionary algorithm. After seeing his "proofs", I decided to try with a minimal amount. Indeed, they returned a small profit to me... but when I tried to withdraw more, the excuses began: "technical problems", "system updates"... you know how it is.

Real miners invest in specialized hardware, pay astronomical electricity bills, and face market volatility. There is no magic shortcut through a Telegram bot.

Legitimate alternatives

If you really want to participate in mining, research verifiable mining pools or cloud mining services with a proven track record. Or better yet, use established trading platforms where at least you know who you are dealing with.

Telegram is still useful for informing you and connecting with legitimate crypto communities, but never for mining. Use it for what it really serves: communication, not magical wealth generation.

Stay alert and don't give your money to scammers! Greed is their best ally.
