What a news I woke up to seeing today! Early this morning, while checking my blockchain alerts, I saw something that left me speechless: the famous whale address 1LQoWist8KkaUXSPKZHNvEyfrEkPHzSsCd has released approximately 13.816 BTC in five separate transactions.
Now this address, which previously claimed to be the third largest in the ecosystem, has fallen to fourth place with a current balance of 124,348.40 BTC. Coincidence? I don't think so. These movements always happen when we least expect them.
It seems suspicious to me that these transfers were made so early. Why not do it during normal market hours? Clearly, someone wanted to go unnoticed, but in the blockchain, nothing is really hidden.
The truth is, these big holders make me angry. While we, small investors, strive to accumulate satoshis, they move billions as if they were playing Monopoly. And then they talk to us about decentralization!
This address probably belongs to one of those platforms that preach so much about "security" and "trust", but then they can freeze your funds for any reason. I wouldn't be surprised if these BTC go straight to some OTC exchange to sell them without affecting the price too much.
The only certainty is that we must stay alert. When the whales move, the sea stirs for all of us.
