In just one night, the total amount of long and short liquidations reached as high as 19.2 billion USD, with around 1.65 million people liquidated, creating a day with the highest number and amount of liquidations, with the longs suffering immensely.

The current liquidation map shows that Bitcoin and Ethereum shorts are dominant and dense.

The current price of Bitcoin is $111,700. If it rises to $113,700, it is expected that about $400 million of short positions can be liquidated. If it falls to $109,700, it is expected that about $365 million of long positions can be liquidated.

The current price of Ether is $3,770. If it rises to $3,870, it is expected that short positions worth about $355 million can be liquidated. If it falls to $3,670, it is expected that long positions worth about $300 million can be liquidated.

Market Direction: Bearish. From the current market trend, it is still in a downward movement with no significant rebound, as the bulls have basically been liquidated and most altcoins have been halved. The reason for the sudden crash was mainly due to a significant drop in the U.S. stock market, which caused the overall market to collapse, and the decline in the U.S. stock market was due to Trump's tariff threats.

In the past few days, I mentioned my view on the market regarding the possibility of a significant correction or waterfall risk, and I also reminded everyone to be cautious. I just didn't expect this waterfall to exceed expectations; the market once dropped by 20,000 points, which caused so many people to be liquidated, with such a large amount being settled...

I personally believe that this large-scale liquidation has also burst some bubbles. During this period, the market is about to enter a consolidation phase, and then slowly recover for a while. The market has already entered a state of panic, and I would rather suggest taking the opportunity to buy in batches; when others are fearful, I am greedy.

Therefore, it is recommended to stagger the buying strategy for spot trading, focusing on popular sectors and mainstream cryptocurrencies. Remember to buy in batches, and then hold for 1-3 months before reevaluating. For contracts, consider going long on dips; it’s possible to take a chance on trend contracts, but keep in mind that this requires holding for a longer period. Therefore, remember to use a light position with low leverage, and wait for the market to rebound again later.
