Kite AI joins Linux Foundation AI Organization: How to Build a Trustworthy Intelligent Settlement Layer?

【Blockchain Rhythm】 There’s an interesting development. Kite AI recently joined the Linux Foundation’s Agentic AI Foundation(AAIF), becoming the organization’s first AI payment project member.

The organization’s lineup is quite impressive—top AI and blockchain companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Block are involved, along with infrastructure giants such as Microsoft, Google, AWS, Cloudflare, and Bloomberg. Essentially, they are working together to develop open standards and interoperable infrastructure, preparing for the production-level Agentic AI era.

Kite’s positioning is quite clear. They mainly aim to focus on three areas: first, verifiable identity to ensure the authenticity of agent operations; second, programmable governance to impose rules on AI agent behavior; third, native settlement with stablecoins, using stablecoins as the currency for AI interactions.

In simple terms, they want AI agents to be able to execute tasks and collaborate in the real world while verifying who you are and what you’re doing, auditing the entire process, and supporting large-scale interactions. This is indeed a necessary problem to solve for the upcoming Agent era.
