Many people believe that small funds can't grow, blaming poor market analysis skills, lack of technical analysis, or not timing the entry well. But frankly, I can responsibly say at this point—most small investors are not trapped because of technical bottlenecks, but because they haven't突破心理承压的阈值。

Starting with just a few thousand or even ten thousand yuan, when experiencing floating losses, they feel anxious and upset; when seeing floating profits, they become impatient and eager to lock in gains. Your opponent in trading is not the market, but your own emotions. In this state, any operation isn't trend-following trading; it's just being led by the size of your capital.

The result is that you never have the courage to add positions, and you can never break out of your original capital size. True leapfrogging never depends on sophisticated technical indicators, but on a qualitative change in mindset—your tolerance for volatility, your understanding of risk, and your ability to stay rational amid uncertainty. Assets with high volatility like Bitcoin and Ethereum are more revealing of this. Once your mindset passes the test, technical analysis is just the icing on the cake.

It's so damn true, I'm just being controlled by my own emotional K-line chart.

Honestly, to put it simply, it's a matter of mental preparation. I get really upset whenever I see my account drop by a few hundred dollars.

That hits too close to home, this is how I get emotionally hijacked Mindset is truly the ceiling, technology is just a facade Wow, I’ve been betting against myself all along The biggest fear for small funds is watching unrealized gains and wanting to sell, or seeing unrealized losses and stubbornly holding on When adding to positions, my legs shake, this is a psychological barrier not overcome No matter how good the technology is, it can't withstand a mental breakdown I resonate, every time it's emotion-driven, no wonder I’ve been poor all along Tolerance is indeed a weakness, it needs to be cultivated Watching the market all afternoon shatters my mindset, let alone adding to positions In the face of volatility, human nature is exposed in the most vivid way, this is true Small amounts are scary, big money is also scary, the difference is mindset I just lack this mental transformation, everything else will follow

That's right, I was cut by my own emotions several times. I want to run after making a little profit, but my mindset explodes when I lose. The core issue is that the principal is too small to withstand the turbulence. Psychological resilience is really more important than K-line analysis. If you can't play with small money in creative ways, you need to first toughen up your mindset.

That really hits home, but the hardest part is definitely the mental state.

Exactly right, it's just that I can't get past the mental barrier Adding to the position? Dream on, I want to cut losses as soon as it drops It's really not a technical issue, I'm just too afraid of losing money My emotions are probably my biggest enemy, damn it Seeing unrealized gains makes me want to sell, I'll never make big money
