Spain’s national gas grid operator, Enagás, has chosen Emerson to provide digital management solutions to ensure the stability and security of the country’s energy supply. Enagás will use Emerson’s AspenTech Digital Grid Management solutions to monitor and optimize its 11,000km pipeline network and integrate renewable gases like biomethane and hydrogen. This strategic move aims to enhance system maintenance, cybersecurity, and overall utility operations, aligning with Enagás’ goals for energy reliability and decarbonisation.
