Abstract generation in progress

IT Home, February 27 — Tonight, according to foreign media 9to5Mac, rumors suggest that Apple is developing two new generation Studio Display monitors, which may be released as early as next week. Leaked system code hints that the high-end model might feature more advanced capabilities.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman has previously revealed that Apple is working on two monitors simultaneously, both expected to be released soon. Currently known information indicates that at least one Studio Display 2 will support 120Hz ProMotion adaptive refresh rate, HDR display, and the A19 chip.

The latest leaked code suggests that one of the higher-end models may offer additional upgrades.

9to5Mac reporter Jeff Benjamin analyzed the code and pointed out that one of the monitors will have a larger internal module, meaning bigger speakers with higher power, which could also correspond to a larger display panel.

Foreign media Macworld reporter Filipe Espósito further revealed today that the high-end model will support more I/O controllers, implying a more advanced interface configuration.

Based on current information, this higher-end Studio Display 2 may feature a more powerful speaker system, richer interfaces, and possibly a larger screen size.

Apple’s strategy of offering two size options aligns with product logic. IT Home learned from the report that the other version might be two 27-inch displays, differing only in feature configurations.

Previous rumors about a 90Hz version of the Studio Display 2 may reflect this strategy — the entry-level model might support only 90Hz refresh rate, while the high-end “Pro” model offers 120Hz ProMotion support.
