Flywheel Effect:

Are you always shouting about making money and turning your life around, but what’s the result?
Collecting a bunch of quick-fix methods and messing around every day, only to find at the end of the year that you’re even poorer than last year. Is that called effort? No, it’s ineffective busywork. Do you know why you’re stuck in the same place? It’s because you don’t understand the flywheel effect.

Imagine a huge wheel, so heavy it’s almost impossible to turn. When you start pushing, it’s tough, right? It doesn’t move at all. But as long as you grit your teeth and keep pushing in one direction steadily and consistently, it will gradually accelerate, then speed up even more. Eventually, once inertia kicks in, you won’t need to push anymore — it will carry you forward on its own. That’s called potential energy.

And you? Today you push this, tomorrow you kick that, but none of the wheels start turning, and you end up exhausted. Here are three tips to start your personal flywheel:

1. Tip one: Find your primary driving force. Don’t be greedy! Focus on one thing you’re best at, most passionate about, and have the most potential in.
2. Tip two: Stick to this point stubbornly. Don’t care if it’s useful or if there’s a return. Just grind away at it for a hundred days first.
3. Tip three: Strengthen your feedback loop. Your potential energy should be able to generate income on its own, and that money will make you stronger and help you earn even more. Stop dreaming every day about the windfall or waiting for a benefactor to pull you up.

The strongest wind in this world is your instinct; the most impressive benefactor is yourself, who has already started the flywheel. Your personal flywheel has been there all along, covered in dust…
