Stellantis records a €22 billion loss due to adjustments in its electric vehicle business

On February 6th, European local time, Stellantis announced that due to weak demand for electric vehicles, the company will record approximately 22 billion euros in charges as it adjusts its electric vehicle strategy. Stellantis stated that most of the write-downs are due to changes in its product roadmap, reflecting a significant downward revision of expectations for electric vehicle sales.
