IT House, March 2 — Qualcomm has launched the first mobile connection system solution supporting 4x4 MIMO multi-input multi-output at MWC25 in Barcelona, called FastConnect 8800.

This integrated wireless network card uses a 6nm process node and supports four advanced technologies simultaneously: Wi-Fi 8, Bluetooth 7.0, 802.15.4ab UWB, and Thread 1.5. It is designed for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and even robotic devices.

Thanks to a 4 transmit and 4 receive antenna configuration, FastConnect 8800 unlocks a peak speed of 11.6 Gbps, reaching gigabit-level performance with support for tri-band Wi-Fi, 320MHz bandwidth, and 4K QAM.
