On the evening of March 9th, Tencent CodeBuddy issued an apology statement: Due to a surge in traffic causing login and service instability, the issue has now been fully resolved. The service has been completely restored and is stable, allowing normal login and use of all features.

The outage was caused by the launch of WorkBuddy (Tencent’s version of Xiaolongxia) public testing in China, which far exceeded expected user traffic, resulting in excessive pressure on core services. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. After the incident, our technical team immediately scaled up capacity by ten times.

To sincerely thank every user for their enthusiastic support and patience, we are offering all domestic users, both new and old, a one-time gift of 5,000 Credits before March 31, 2026. (Tencent Cloud Code Assistant CodeBuddy)
