Nearly half of Americans would switch for faster internet; AT&T topped Ookla

AT&T Fiber has been awarded Ookla’s first-ever “Best Home Internet” and recognized as America’s “Fastest Home Internet” for the fourth consecutive time, based on 2H 2025 Speedtest Intelligence data. The company highlighted that 47% of consumers are willing to switch providers for faster internet, reinforcing AT&T’s leadership in the broadband market, especially after the Lumen deal expanded its fiber availability to 32 states. This recognition follows strong financial results in 2025 and strategic efforts to grow its customer base, with a new AT&T Fiber customer reportedly joining every 30 seconds.
