According to CME “Federal Reserve Watch”: The probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points by March is 0.6%, and the probability of keeping rates unchanged is 99.4%. The probability of the Fed cutting rates by a total of 25 basis points by April is 11.9%, with an 88.1% chance of holding rates steady, and a 0.1% chance of a total cut of 50 basis points. The probability of a total cut of 25 basis points by June is 33.8%.
